Materials: Any Worsted Weight, but designed with Cascade 220 in colourways 7822 Van Dyke Brown and 2453 Pumpkin Spice, 88 – 110 yards.
Crochet Hook: 3.75mm / F6 or hook to achieve a tight gauge so no stuffing can be seen through the stitches. Yarn loft and stretch may influence your hook size.
Other Materials: 8mm shank back black doll eyes, polyfill stuffing, and pins.
Finished Size: Sea Lion nose to tail = 8.5”/ 22cm long, Front Flipper to Flipper 6”/ 15cm wide.
Crochet Skills: (US/Canada terms) Single crochet, half double crochet, chain, crochet in a round/spiral, invisible decrease, crochet increases and decreases, working front and back loops, following complex/unpredictable pattern changes, and sewing on parts.
